Our School
Rooftop Spirit

Rooftop is more than a school; it is a caring community. We celebrate our diversity and work hard to promote inclusiveness. Volunteering benefits the whole school, helps you build friendships, and lets your child see you as part of their school life. Rooftop students flourish in this extended-family community, and family volunteers model life-long learning by working alongside teachers and staff.

For some children, starting Kindergarten is their first real experience of being a part of a larger community. You may hear your child talk about “Rooftop Spirit” throughout the school year. This sense of spirit matters deeply to our students, built on qualities like sharing, caring, kindness, helping fellow students, respecting individual differences, and taking responsibility for one’s own actions.

Rooftop School Vision Statement

Our challenging educational program integrates the arts to empower all students to become effective problem solvers. Rooftop students are academically engaged, socially responsible members of the community who face challenges with optimism and confidence. When the arts are thoughtfully integrated into the academic, students' opportunities to think critically and solve problems creatively increase significantly.
